Our Commitments

We believe that a workplace in which colleagues feel safe and empowered regardless of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity is a workplace that enables our community to perform at its best.

We are at the beginning of a long journey and are committed to increasing our awareness and activity in this space to work towards creating an environment that provides inclusion for all underrepresented groups, ensuring their voices are heard. As part of this commitment, in the last year, we have established a new community led LGBTQIA+ committee to lead initiatives such as policy reviews, running workshops and making annual Stonewall Equality Index applications.

Steering Committee

Liz James, Chair

Liz want to create a space for Queer colleagues to feel safe in, ensuring intersectionality is valued and celebrated through giving voices and platforms to those who face discrimination and stigma and to make sure that other people don't have to suffer in order to contribute and exist within the organisation.

Matt Eastwood

Matt wants to focus on promoting equality and help to develop a  working environment where colleagues feel valued, supported and safe to share their perspectives and ideas.

Joris Van Den Oever

Joris wants to encourage individuals to educate themselves around diversity to make them aware of the benefits a diverse organisation brings and why it’s worth putting effort into.

Danielle Owen

As part of our talent team, Danielle wants to eliminate unconscious bias and educate the Group on the importance of diversity in the workplace to ensure individuals who are LGBTQIA+ feel comfortable and confident with themselves at work.

Kyle Stuart

Kyle wants to foster an environment of total inclusion, which happens when the community and allies alike come together
